This includes, but is not limited to: • Configure, manage, and support critical network devices and maintain a 99% uptime. • Troubleshooting route, switch, firewall, and wireless issues. • Provide analysis for root cause of issues with recommendations for improvements. • Understanding of IT change management processes. • Create and/or maintain current quality documentation of local area networks. • Strong customer engagement skills with excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) at all levels of the business, IT, and corporate partners (vendors) effectively. • Effectively engage Level 1 (customer contact), Level 2 (initial troubleshooting and resolution). Education Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering from an accredited institution. • A minimum of 3 years of experience implementing and supporting network solutions with Multi-platform Cisco Routers, Switches, VoIP, and CCNA certificationAdditional Job Details : • Very strong Cisco troubleshooting skills – This is vague I know, and hard to gauge, but having a strong understanding of cisco products through experience/certifications.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, EIGRP, STP, 802.11, 802.1x, QoS)
  • Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., Cisco routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Wireless Solutions).
  • Performing network maintenance and device upgrades (e.g., operating systems, device replacement, and security configurations). • Physically capable of racking and stacking equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Monitor WAN/LAN performance (bandwidth usage/uptime) using monitoring tools. • Provide Level-1/2 network support to end users (troubleshooting/resolving issues). • Work with vendors and other IT personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Good understanding of configuration and change management procedures and will adhere to these policies to ensure awareness and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. • Ensure network documentation is kept up to date post change. • Provide On-Site support for daily network requests. (Wireless, routing, ACLs, firewall, VPN, VoIP)
  • Supporting Factory Floor network environments across multiple business units. Strong understanding of manufacturing process networks, segmentation, and configurations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience supporting remote locations globally. • Experience working with Cisco ISE a plus.
  • Experience with Palo Alto networks. Building new or modifying current policies to meet business requirements. Monitoring logs to isolate and fix issues.
  • Experience with Aruba SD-WAN products a plus. Hybrid work schedule - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Mode of interview - 1 phone and 1 in person Seldom work on weekends and on call support required No common LAN profiles. looking for people who have experience with wide range of cisco products. CCNA certification is flexible. Bachelors degree is a must.
