- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential data for design development and validation.
- Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review and incorporate feedback from clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders into design revisions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafting team members, fostering their professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil drafting, with a focus on infrastructure design or 1-3 years civil drafting experience with EIT
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in stormwater management, utility layouts, grading, and drainage.
- Experience with wood structures.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and codes governing civil infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget constraints.
