Administrative Assistant II, Department of OrthopaedicsPosition Highlights:Position: Administrative Assistant IILocation: Skokie, ILFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hoursRequired Travel: travel to other locations may be requiredWhat you will do:Provide administrative support for the Department of Orthopaedics, including but not limited to the physicians, director, practice managers and staff.General office duties including answering phones, faxes, mail, greeting visitors, ordering supplies, scanning, filing, sending department emails, scheduling appointments, etc.Schedules phone and virtual meetings and prepares agenda/paperwork for departmental meetingsProvide helpful and accurate information to patients, physicians, and others in a non-patient facing settingCompiles timely reports and data tracking for Orthopaedic group using Excel spreadsheetsCollects pertinent data consistently and in a timely fashion to be used for financial analysis of Orthopaedic groupSubmitting CME or any special requests (new equipment) as neededMonitors office expenses and reviews accounting reports for accuracyEnsures expenditure requisitions are completed to reconcile invoices for the DivisionOrient, train, mentor, and cross-cover co-workers as necessaryWhat you will need:Education: High school diploma required.
