- Bringing porridge/stock as needed to all floors in line with agreed timelines
- Meeting agreed timelines in ensuring all crockery, utensils and condiments are collected, washed and available on time for meal times.
- Load dishwasher after each serving on all floors, unloading once complete
- Deep clean twice daily on all floors
- Set tables for lunches and teatime on all floors at agreed times
- Lunch time (float)
- Transfer trolleys to and from kitchen in a timely manner in line with service needs
- Clean trolleys before and after each serving
- Stock check on all floors after each serving
- Assist service and cleaning on all floors as required
- Ensuring all serving and eating areas are clean
- Adherence to the safe storage and use of all food and cleaning products
- Compliance with Haccp guidelines as directed by the Head Chef ensuring all work practices are in line with regulations
- Ensure all the equipment is cleaned to a high standard as directed
- Ensuring waste is to a minimum
- Rotate where necessary to meet the catering demands of the role as directed
- Daily cleaning of allocated bedrooms and general areas within the Nursing Home
- Assisting in keeping the dining area organized clean and tidy
- Daily washing of crockery at assigned dining area where applicable
- Managing the safe storage and own use of cleaning chemicals and other products
- Collection and correct disposable of domestic and clinical waste
- Providing intensive cleaning techniques in M.R.S.A Infected rooms as directed
- Rotate where necessary to meet the housekeeping demands of the role
- Proactively sorting and labeling clothing
- Daily laundering and ironing of clothing within the nursing room
- Managing storage and own use of cleaning and other products
- Collection and correct disposable of domestic and clinical waste
- Providing intensive cleaning techniques to M.R.S.A Infected clothes as directed
- Maintaining the Laundry service area and surrounds
- Rotate where necessary to meet the Laundry demands of the role
