Every year, we successfully oversee thousands of projects across the Southeastern United States ranging from siding installation to custom millworks to residential roofing. We are currently looking to grow our Accounting and Finance Department and would love if you joined our team!Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the successful management of all full-cycle accounting activities. They will be responsible for the preparation of monthly close and journal entries. In addition, they will analyze and interpret financial data to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining general ledger accounts and making journal entries as needed.
Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Preparing and analyzing financial reports.
Assisting with month-end close process.
Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Identifying inconsistencies and errors in financial statements.
Maintaining accurate books of account.
Performing ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly proficient in Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
