Within the VIVESCIA Group, Kalizea is one of the European leaders in the valorization and processing of maize. With three factories in Europe and an international presence, Kalizea is a key supplier to many large agribusiness companies for the beer, breakfast cereals, snacks and animal feed markets.Kalizea Boromir, based in Slobozia – Romania – is looking for an OPERATION MANAGER:Reporting to the General Manager of Kalizea Boromir, and member of the Management Committee, you will manage the activities of the plant. In this context, you will have the following missions:Ø Be the guarantor of the smooth running of the factory, in terms of production, maintenance and supply chain:- Ensure the implementation of the manufacturing in accordance with the planning, the specifications defined by the customer and the food safety management system,- Ensure the implementation of the control procedures for good process monitoring.- Organize the planning of the production operators, conduct product conformity checks, and propose solutions to improve the production process.- Ensure packaging and shipping of products in accordance with customer specifications.- Guarantee an optimal working environment for the teams,- Ensure the smooth running of operations through optimized management of resources,- Identify malfunctions in the production, packaging and shipping process and develop appropriate technical and organizational solutions.- Analyze the performance of the plant's activity according to the objectives.- Participate in the continuous improvement of performances by proposing preventive and / or corrective actions.- Ensure the relevance of the maintenance strategy with the site’s objectives.- Ensure budgetary compliance with its scope, notably maintenance.Ø Build and pilot technical investment (CAPEX, Renewal/Improvement of equipment...) with the support of industrial director of Kalizea company. Participate actively to the definition/implementation of the coming ERP.- Participate in the studies of new project to improve safety, quality, cost effectiveness.- Define the cost and financial modalities.- Define suppliers and project team.- Drive the deployment of project in the respect of safety/quality/delay/cost/sustainability guidelines.Ø People’s management:- Ensure the management of the teams of production, maintenance and supplychain,- Manage and empower workforce, participate In recruitment process, assign accountability, train and develop plant team,- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of legal and regulatory measures in terms of working hours, health and safety on its perimeter.- 3/5 or 5/7 years minimum experience supervising a production site, ideally in the industrial sector,- Strong leadership skills and proven supervisory experience.- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate people toward a goal- Able to work in team, develop skills and be enthusiastic in the implementation of the strategy,- Entrepreneurial personality and practical spirit, ability to convince,- Rigor, ability to organize his work in a structured and autonomous way,- Proficiency in English and RomanianPosition to be filled as soon as possible.
