At Carolina Meadows our LPN Charge Nurses on our Assisted Living Team work 8 hour shifts and require a current North Carolina LPN license. We welcome new LPN graduates.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic IV therapy, and assisting with procedures such as wound care.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Provide specialized care for infants and neonates, including neonatal ventilator management and infant care.
- Assist with airway management and provide support during emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement health plans for patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient informationQualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices, including infection control.
- Experience in geriatrics preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
