- Prospect and identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their fit for our products or services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Conduct introductory meetings and product demonstrations to educate prospects about our offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for engaging and converting leads into customers.
- Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics using CRM software.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Continuously improve sales techniques and processes to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence others effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a passion for sales and customer acquisition.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- Conversion Metrics: Led teams in setting meetings that converted to Sales Accepted Leads (SAL), completed demos, and ultimately booked ARR
- Consistent Performance: Maintained consistent top performance month over month relative to peers in BDR / SDR function
- Deal Characteristics: Ideally has experience identifying, targeting, and generating new deals in the $25-50k ACV range in GovTech.
