In this position based at our head office in Newmarket, Auckland, you will join a high performing Finance and Accounting team and be responsible for and focus on Accounts Payable and Purchasing workflows.

Key duties & responsibilities: Facilitate accurate, timely and complete processing of accounts payables including: Reconciliation of supplier statements Maintenance of vendor accounts and paymentsCoordinate with offshore accounting service center.Support preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, such as PurchaseOrder Goods Receipting accounts, AP sub-ledger (control accounts) and purchasing accruals.Ensure GL accounts are cleared and accurate.Support month-end close tasks including AP accruals, journals, and reports.Support audits, internal controls, and financial team projects. Qualifications What you will need to be successful: Sound knowledge of spreadsheet and accounting softwareAccounting Systems - SAP (advantageous) Tertiary qualification/University degree Accounting or BusinessStrong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude Ability to communicate confidently to all levels of external and internal stakeholders.
