DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Painter/Blaster for projects located in Honolulu, HI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Painter/Blaster eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:
  • Apply coatings by operating Conventional Spray systems, Airless spray systems and Plural Spray systems on various Marine vessels
  • Proficient in operating various types of equipment, such as blast pots, spray guns, airless spray systems, sandblasting tools and equipment and rust removal
  • Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches and/or blueprints
  • Grinding, Sanding and polishing
  • Painting, caulking and sealing
Requirements
  • Prefer candidates with certifications such as SSPC-C7 or SSPC-C12
  • Will consider candidates with 2-3 years of experience Blasting and Spray painting in other fields such as Automotive Bodywork or Industrial
  • Must be US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen
  • Must have clean background
  • Must pass drug screening
  • Must have Marine OSHA 10
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card and DBIDS access to Navy base
