As a full system manufacturer, distributor and program management partner, we supply global chains in the quick-service restaurant, convenience store and supermarket segments, helping to manage unit growth and upgrade their facilities.About the jobThe Value Stream Manager will direct Team Lead activities related to production in an efficient manner to achieve the optimal, cost-effective manufacturing methods. Ensures that company policies and guidelines are accurately interpreted and implemented to achieve and maintain the highest possible performance levels process, quality and quantity of production to achieve key initiatives.Your tasksMaintains Lean Tools such as Kaizen, OEE, Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work to eliminate waste.
  • Work with Shift Managers for additional tools and personnel requests on production floor.
  • Design and implement systems and procedures to ensure capable manufacturing processes of improvements targeted to improve productivity, quality, safety, value engineering, cost, and efficiency of operations.
  • Assign daily job duties to your value stream production team leads on off shifts such as second and third.
  • Interacts with other departments to resolve problems and ensure customer/production needs are met.
  • Ensures all parts and materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Ensures availability of proper materials and tools are available to maintain workflow. Ensures implementation of Continuous Improvement culture and applies Lean concepts to product development and departmental management. • Confer with customers, customer service representatives, and engineering to evaluate and promote improved product quality • Establish, maintain, and adjust the production requirements and efficiencies to meet the business demands to ensure the effective and proficient use of inventory, facilities, and people • Continuous learning as assigned by Leadership for Individualized training completions throughout the year. • Coordinates with Shift Manager with Human Resources all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training, and development, etc.
RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, or relative field preferred
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and processes preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
