- Works with Haworth leadership to understand global business and design tool strategies, to set direction for new products and their implementation into design tools that align to this strategy.
- Develops design tools user experience, program specification, and product models that meet the design tool strategy, in alignment with Haworth’s business direction, to communicate Haworth’s new and existing product offering through design tools with precision, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Understands intent and details of Haworth’s product offering and direction to represent it in design tools to ensure easier, more accurate design, resulting in in less specification errors, more accurate designs, and improved customer satisfaction.
- Creates and leads the implementation plan for new and existing products in design tools and is responsible for the testing, performance and final approval of design tool launch.
- Presents design tools in the context of the strategy to all levels of business, dealerships and customers upon request to support understanding, purpose, and adoption of tools.
- Leads training development for dealer designers and leaders to ensure successful use of tool.
- Creates deployment plans for modifications and system enhancements, based on Sales, dealers, and customer needs, to continue to ensure Haworth maintains clear leadership in design and specification system development.
- Collaborates with Business Unit, Design, and Engineering leaders to understand product and system strategy, business drivers, and product capabilities to ensure efficient logic, rule development, and performance are accurately reflected in design tool development.
- Leads communication and relationships with dealer designers and leaders to ensure clear purpose, implementation, and adoption of tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or similar.
- Six years of experience in Design, Design Tools and/or Marketing,
- Including two years design experience.
- Haworth industry and/or dealership experience.
- Manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
- Design and design tool knowledge required.
- Ability to understand business strategy and align design tool strategy accordingly, including functionality, enhancements, and structural development.
- Ability to manage large and complex projects with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong presentation skills required.
- PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
- Travels overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, 25 percent of time.
