Work in cooperation with the District Director of Athletics in developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive athletics program. Assist in the administration and procedures that
will ensure success, a positive working environment and a competitive atmosphere for coaches, student athletes, and support staff.Essential Functions
  • Assist the District Director of Athletics in overseeing, monitoring and administering a comprehensive athletics program.
  • Assist the District Director of Athletics in monitoring compliance in accordance to state law and the governance of the Arkansas Activities Association and NIAAA.
  • Assist with student athlete eligibility and assist with school administration in resolving student athlete problems and issues.
  • Oversee NCAA requirements for student athletes and provide education to families as needed.
  • Work with the District Director of Athletics regarding the maintenance of Bentonville Schools Athletic Facilities. This includes assisting in overseeing the grounds staff and submitting work orders.
  • Assist the District Director of Athletics in fundraising and sponsorship sales.
  • Assist with coaches, trainers, and classified staff evaluations. This includes assisting with budgets and inventory list.
  • Assist with scheduling of all events using Bentonville Schools Athletic Facilities. This includes following district procedures and policy.
  • Oversight, administration, and implementation of athletic websites, mobile applications, and social media accounts (i.e. Twitter, Apps, Facebook, etc…)
  • Assist with assigned High School and Junior High athletic event supervision.
  • Assist athletes and coaches with interpretations of; athletic codes, athletic procedures, compliance and education.
  • Promote Bentonville Schools through good community relations specifically keeping the public aware and responsive to the athletic program.
  • Assist District Director of Athletics and Principals with the hiring of new staff and renewal of staff contracts.
  • Attend meetings and conferences as needed.
Additional Duties

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with five (5) years related experience and/or training; or Master’s degree in education
