- Develop and implement creative, integrated, and omnichannel marketing campaigns for Gryphon House published titles, ensuring consistency with brand values and strategic goals.
- Lead the development of compelling and strategically-targeted book metadata, optimizing book listings for maximum visibility in online marketplaces and e-reader ecosystems.
- Spearhead book publicity efforts, including securing author interviews, media placements, and book reviews.
- Leverage social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage educators and parents, and promote author expertise.
- Develop and manage content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, articles, and email campaigns, aligned with audience needs and strategic objectives.
- Harness the power of existing author networks and implement targeted advertising campaigns to reach both trade and consumer audiences.
- Collaborate with authors, editors, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless marketing execution.
- Analyze marketing data and campaign performance to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in marketing, content creation, and social media engagement within the early childhood education space.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including content marketing, social media, email, book publicity, and strategic marketing campaign development.
- Demonstrated expertise (7-10 years) in book marketing, content creation, and audience engagement within publishing, early childhood education or a similar niche.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, and experience optimizing book listings for online discoverability.
- Experience with HubSpot
- A passion for mar tech and continuously learning the latest platforms and tools
- Proven success in managing people and budgets and achieving marketing goals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
