Summary:
This person will play a key role in driving recruiting strategies, scalable processes, and act as the subject matter expert for all talent acquisition needs in the region. In this role you will partner with hiring managers and other cross functional partners to drive innovative talent acquisition solutions within the region. Your job will be to develop a recruitment strategy, recruit, and help to hire top talent that will support company growth. We are looking for a decision-maker with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You need to be able to recognize and attract the best candidates for job positions.Example of roles that this position will be working on and need relative experience in:

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Full life cycle recruiting that includes meeting with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, build an effective recruiting strategy, and set/manage clear process and delivery expectations
  • Optimize operational process flows and identify ways to deliver a consistent, scalable, customer obsessed recruitment experience to all stakeholders
  • Act as trusted partner, consultant, and advisor to hiring managers, HR Managers and HR Business Partners by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market
  • Demonstrate all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Manage overall data integrity within the applicant tracking system
Qualifications
  • You are currently based and eligible to work in the Bloomfield Hills area
  • 5+ years of previous experience in recruitment (combination of agency and in house is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or another relevant field
Additional experience and skills that will set you apart:
  • Must be able to handle a req load of 15-25 openings
  • Experience with Engineering recruiting (Automotive industry experience is a big plus including OEM)
  • Ability to translate business/organizational needs as they relate to recruiting lifecycle
  • Candidate experience centric
  • Lead with a customer centric approach with a proven ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers
  • A highly structured and organized individual who can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high attention to detail to identify risks, investigate and discover the key cause and impact of options, decisions and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to use applicant tracking system and social media tools - Workday experience is a plus!
  • An ability to work independently and drive recruiting seamlessly, quickly and with passion
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, ability to influence, experience sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and an international environment
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and an unmatched desire to provide excellent service to our candidates, hiring teams, and recruiting partners

  • Has a strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful, works independently, motivated by own drive and passion, capable of working independently as well as working in a team
