- Receive & direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update records, ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients, and own collection of co-payments, etc.
- Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange follow-up services
- Interview patients to maintain their medical history
- Prepare patients for examination, take and record vitals, record patients' health history, deliver screening questionnaires
- Update patient accounts
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with all organizational policies, procedures and standards
- Actively participate in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Prior administrative and/or clinical experience in healthcare
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems with remote software and hardware
- Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding initial app access, connectivity, and similar concerns
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Highly collaborative and excellent written and oral communication skills. It is imperative you are able to clearly and effectively interact with members of our team in a remote
- environment
- Knowledge of patient care and procedures
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
