- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in progressive sales management, extraordinary client service and client/prospect calling experience.
- Must be/become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act.
- This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Driving may be required with this position. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and driving history that meets Bank’s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Previous Private Banker experience and exceptional Client Services experience.
- Previous Wealth Management / Estate Planning / Trust Services Experience.
- Previous sales experience in the banking and/or financial services industry.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Client service driven; very responsive and understanding to the needs of Private Banking client issues and concerns.
- Specialized competencies including basics of financial planning, asset/investment types and allocation methodologies, basics of wealth management, as well as consumer, commercial and mortgage credit types and approaches.
- Specialized competencies in delivery of deposit, loan and other banking products and services.
- Strong financial acumen and conceptual understanding of risk management.
- Highly effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients.
- Strong professional and etiquette behaviors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately.
- Must be passionate about proactive relationship building of new business from existing clients and referrals. Proven track record of prospecting new relationships, as well as enhancing existing ones, and meeting or exceeding goals.
- Proven sales skills and client management experience.
- Proficient at working with multiple computer and Microsoft Office software applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn various systems.

- Private Banker to be available on call Monday through Sunday, Twenty-Four Hours a day.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is required on an as needed basis to exceed the expectations of the client.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
- When completing certain tasks, an associate may need to be able to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise and hold hands and arms overhead.
- Sitting for extended periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).
