Object Computing, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a full-time Senior Software Engineer (Java) responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and enhancing Java based software systems; developing multi-tiered Java applications, using RESTful microservices; designing and building web applications utilizing Java, JavaScript and HTML; writing database queries using SQL; creating custom Docker images for deployment to cloud environments; debugging and fixing errors; performing quality assurance reviews and unit testing; influencing the technical direction for assigned projects; identifying and communicating technical issues; contributing to OCI practices and offerings through knowledge sharing; and mentoring and developing less experienced engineers.Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation to include 5 years of Java development experience and 3 years experience with Micronaut and modern JavaScript development experience.Submit resumes to berkenwalda@objectcomputing.com.
