- Analyze acquisition and strategic investment opportunities, including preparation of detailed financial valuation models and internal presentations
- Participate in the end-to-end acquisition process including business assessment, due diligence, valuation, and post-closing integration tasks such as preparing monthly financial forecasts and budgets of newly acquired businesses
- Evaluate strategic initiatives such as new market opportunities, network expansions, and other capital investments
- Ad hoc analyses and other special projects related to strategic initiatives or projects within Cable One, often alongside FP&A and Investor Relations teams
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity
- Excellent analytical skills, strong command of finance and M&A concepts, and advanced proficiency in creating complex financial models in Excel
- Strong attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills through proficient use of PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment across multiple functional areas to meet aggressive goals
- Capacity to work flexible hours to include overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet time-sensitive deliverables
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
