Wind Turbine Technician is required for our base in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.ENERCON is one of the world's leading companies in the wind energy industry, with 31,000 turbines installed in over 395 service sites along with 12,000 people employed worldwide.ENERCON will provide you with full training which will enable you to perform all the daily tasks.As a Wind Turbine Technician you will be responsible for:
  • Service, maintenance and repair of ENERCON wind turbines
  • Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment
  • Working to the highest safety and environmental standards
  • Responsible for completing all computerised documentation
  • Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation)

Day to day
This is a permanent full time role with a Monday to Friday schedule. On-call rotation is 1 in 3/4 weekends with a premium paid.Your Profile
  • You are qualified as an electrical technician (electrician craft or electrical degree qualification)
  • Living less than 40 minutes drive from base location
  • Good Level of personal fitness and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test)
  • Full Irish Driving Licence
  • Valid Safe Pass Card or CSR Card
  • Flexibility and high mobility required - willingness to travel to meet the companies' requirements
