Shipping Loader Operator

- Operation of the shipping loader in a timely and courteous manner
- Operate the loader safely and efficiently
- Operate the Powerscreener safely and efficiently
- Shoveling, screen changing, use of hand tools and other labour duties as assigned
- Tower experience is beneficial
- Partake in daily/winter maintenance and complete repairs as required
- Small service and maintenance of the Loader (greasing, fluid levels, monitoring equipment performance)
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping
- Assist with other duties as required from time to time
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience operating a loader
- Must be familiar with loader scales and truck weights
- Aggregate crushing/screening experience beneficial
- Preferred mechanical inclination/experience
- Must have a valid driver's license with a preference given to those holding a class 1 or 3 with air break
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Must be able to independently & proficiently operate a Loader
- Must communicate well with customers & co-workers
- Must be able to work under a fast paced environment
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Must be physically fit to perform required duties of crusher maintenance, successful candidate will have to pass a physical assessment
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, nights, and early starts (irregular hours) when operationally necessary
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
