If you’re looking for a dynamic, fulfilling career coupled with flexibility and world-class employee experience, you’ll find it here.About the jobThe US Commercial Healthcare team is looking for a Senior Account Executive to be at the forefront of selling cutting-edge SAS software products and solutions in a territory that includes Centene, Humana, and CareSource. Leveraging expertise in strategic selling techniques and deep understanding of industry trends, this role is instrumental in driving revenue growth for SAS while helping a few of SAS’ largest Healthcare customers reduce the cost of health care while improving health outcomes for their members.As a Senior Account Executive, you will:
  • Sell software, solutions, and services to Centene, Humana and CareSource
  • Develop a client-focused account plan, strategy, and vision for your territory. Set goals and objectives based on evaluation of territory potential and alignment to SAS initiatives.
  • Utilize consultative, solutions-selling methodology, strategic concepts, and techniques to grow our presence to Centene, Humana and CareSource.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with advisory and consulting resources to execute account strategies.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key account stakeholders.
  • Lead client outreach and travel to customer sites.
  • Lead client calls and presentations focused on identifying client goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior-level executives.
  • Apply analytical strategy to consider SAS’ strengths and competitive landscape to drive a winning strategy within your accounts.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience in software sales with a focus on US Payers.
  • Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities and to relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, or other relevant discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

  • Location in Louisville, KY or St. Louis, MO.
  • Experience selling into, previously employed by, and/or have strong relationships at Centene, Humana, and/or CareSource
  • Experience of selling software solutions to enterprise customers with a focus on Analytics, SaaS, AI/ML and/or Cloud.
  • Experience and expertise selling to senior decision makers and ability to align the value proposition of SAS capabilities to meet enterprise needs.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to relate SAS capabilities needs to enterprise challenges within treasury & finance.
