Required Skills:
- Familiarization with Radiologists and department work methods and Company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform radiology studies, including body mechanics and patients movement.
- Knowledge of and adherence to organization's safety program. Maintains compliance with ergonomic accommodations provided by the organization and OSHA standards.
- Skill in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging.
- Skill in trouble-shooting equipment operations and performing simple adjustments.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively interact with physicians, other company staff, and patients and families with providing instructions or responding to questions or exchanging patient related information. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient record information.
- Analytical skill necessary in order to conduct routine radiographic tests and review results for accuracy and quality, to verify patient information and complete material for medical record and to monitor supply levels.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting or assisting with diagnostic radiologic procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to follow proper office policies and procedures.
- At least 2 years of MRI/CT Tech work experience.
- Graduate of accredited x-ray technology program.
- Current certification or eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); current state CRT license/permit.
- IV Certification for Radiologic Technologists.
- Maintains CME credits, as required.
- Maintains CPR and BLS certifications.
