Are you an accomplished Bridge Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to join our growing Transportation Team? Our client is actively seeking a talented individual to fulfill this pivotal role. As a Bridge Engineer, you will:
  • Offer expert technical support and leadership across various stages of transportation infrastructure projects, both in the public and private sectors.
  • Engage in research, design, and development of load-bearing structures, including bridges, roadways, and retaining walls.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers to ensure project tasks are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Supervise engineering activities related to bridge projects, ensuring efficient organization and execution.
  • Act as a representative for projects and the firm at meetings and industry conferences.
  • Ensure engineering services align with professional standards, client needs, and project objectives, while maintaining control over budget, scheduling, and quality.
  • Offer innovative solutions for bridge and transit structure designs
  • Collaborate within a team environment to address project challenges, particularly in devising structural solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and sub-consultants to facilitate successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, with a focus on structural or civil design.
  • Professional Engineer license or can obtain within 6 months
  • Proficiency in structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes.
  • Extensive experience in bridge and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
  • Knowledge of structural and civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices.
  • Experience in planning and conducting inspections and investigations related to construction and design of structures and bridges..
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by project needs.
