  • Collaborate with the various Controlling teams and other functions (e.g. Accounting, Risk and IT) to gather business requirements, define analytical objectives and drive respective initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Employ statistical methods to analyze financial and operational data, such as variance analysis and regression analysis.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and identify key drivers of financial performance.
  • Design and implement advanced financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Develop predictive forecasting models to anticipate future financial performance and develop benchmarking analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and apply innovative techniques to solve complex controlling challenges.
  • Foster knowhow transfer across all divisions and locations to enable realization of synergies with OMV Group and actively seek external perspective.
Your profile
  • University Degree Master/Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience, ideally in Controlling/Finance.
  • Proven experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and financial forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling software (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Very strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and result orientation.
  • Excellent English.
