We need a team player with solid QA testing skills to ensure high quality delivery of experiences to both customers and prospects. The ideal candidate is someone who can contribute to a team tasked with delivering robust technical solutions, solving system and business problems and implementing world class digital experiences.In this role, you will:Perform cross browser/device testing against Rapid7's suite of marketing and documentation websitesTranslate assigned end-user requirements into fully documented test cases and scripts in accordance with approved test plansExecute test cases and scripts manually or using automated test toolsParticipate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives and to provide input on testability of requirementsReview implementations against design assets (e.g. comps, wireframes) to ensure alignment with specificationsProactively keep your project team updated on project status.Work with department leaders to help refine the QA ProcessThe skills you'll bring include:3 to 5 years of both manual blackbox testing and test automation of web sites and applicationsFamiliarity with the basics of web development and technologies and the SDLCExperience building and executing regression testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing, UI testing, functional testing, usability testingDemonstrable experience with at least one test automation framework (Cypress etc.)Experience with Git and Jenkins or similar version control and build platformsComprehension of test management, defect tracking, and requirements management tools.Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skillsFamiliarity working with web content management systemsAdditional desirable but not required skillsAccessibility testing and toolsLoad or performance testing platformsExperience with Episerver CMS, Optimizely, Marketo or SalesforceWe know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
