- Answer telephone and email messages. Respond accordingly.
- Manage all incoming catering inquiries and distribute
- Maintain and stay abreast of the latest computer programs/innovations (as applicable).
- Assist with catering event resumes and distribution
- Manage BEO distribution and event guarantees
- Create Menus and Event Collateral.
- Filing all pertinent correspondence promptly.
- Handle correspondence about the department.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the office.
- Type and distribute meeting minutes.
- Maintain trace files as needed.
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOS) and Group Resumes as needed
- Greet guests/clients/employees when necessary.
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Delphi FDC
- High School diploma or equivalent required, and experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- College coursework in related fields is helpful.
- Computer knowledge/skills required.
- Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
