- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
- Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make English literature and language studies relevant and captivating for students.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
- A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Teaching certification in English.
- PGCE/QTS/QTLS
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
- Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
