
Senior Product Manager, Energy Intelligence

- Be responsible for the timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality customer features.
- Conceptualize, prototype and launch features that integrate state of the art controls, ML algorithms, and intuitive UI design, to promote user convenience, energy efficiency, and battery longevity in various usage scenarios.
- Create and manage feature roadmaps for multiple vehicle program line and get buy-in from engineering leadership, marketing, and business strategy teams.
- Be the voice of customer and represent the feature in all communications with stakeholders.
- Develop the feature definitions, use cases, functional requirements and target performances.
- Drive the feature specification with creative ideas together with the UX/UI design team and engineering team providing an industry-leading experience.
- Lead usability studies with UX/UI team to finalize the feature user experience.
- Work closely with internal software teams and suppliers where applicable to implement and validate innovative solutions.
- Benchmark competitive products to stay up to date with latest market trends and technology.
- Work cross functionally to ensure rapid and coordinated feature development and delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in bringing automotive products or consumer electronics into production as a product manager / feature owner
- Sound product sense
- Expertise in use case development and requirements engineering
- Strong understanding of complex hardware-software systems such as that in a vehicle
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as JAMA
- Working knowledge of agile development processes and tools such as Jira
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams, and customers
- Passion for intuitive user experience
- Passion for EV technologies
- Experience with EV charging, navigation, range estimation, battery SoX features
- Software development experience with embedded vehicle controllers or battery management system
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled user-facing features
- Experience with cloud-based services
- Familiarity with automotive software development life cycle
- Experience with feature level project management
- Bachelor's degree in the areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields is required.
- Master's degree or higher education is preferred.
