On site in Indianapolis, INWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Develop and maintain Simulink models for real-time simulation of complex systems.
- Collaborate with system architects and domain experts to understand requirements and translate them into Simulink models.
- Implement control algorithms, signal processing, and mathematical models within Simulink.
- Optimize Simulink models for performance, memory usage, and scalability.
- Conduct simulations and analyze results to verify system behavior and performance against requirements.
- Work closely with other software developers to integrate Simulink models into larger software systems.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Simulink models and their integration.
- Stay updated with the latest Simulink features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Document Simulink models, design decisions, and implementation details.
ESSENTIAL:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Must be a US citizen.
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in developing Simulink models for complex systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Simulink Coder, and StateFlow.
- Strong understanding of control theory, signal processing, and mathematical modeling.
- Experience with real-time simulation and code generation using Simulink.
- Familiarity with software development practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), unit testing, and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with automotive, aerospace, or robotics systems is a plus.
- Certification in MATLAB/Simulink or relevant domains is desirable.
