- Safety Precautions Training
- Assistance with gathering resources / county testing
- Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
- Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
- Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
- Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
- Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
- Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
- Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
- Some weekend availability
- Dementia experience
- Valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Experience working in a community setting a plus!
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work
- Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and Company training
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Pass a background check
- Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law
- Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systems
- Empathy for the needs of the client
- Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image
- Maintains confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if applicable
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Have a smartphone
