- Perform program management monthly baseline reviews and execute program Earned Value Management System (EVMS) business rhythm to insure CDS leaders understand current funding position and Estimates to Complete /Estimates at Completion (ETC/EACs).
- Facilitate status reporting and ensure issue elevation/resolution process is understood by Sustainment Operations IOs and executed by AFS CDS Leads in a timely manner
- Lead effort with Sustainment Operations IOs to standardize Program Management processes and export best practices to improve process discipline / excellence
- Supports AFS Communications team with Line Of Business (LOB) specific news and other communication requirements
- Support proposal development by establishing CDS/Site staffing/manning requirements. Negotiate contract with prime support and baseline Intra-company Work Transfer Agreement (IWTA) target cost per Line Item. Flow out negotiated position to site/CDS leads to achieve their ownership.
- Coordinates changing priorities within CDS Leads based on Sustainment Ops/LOB performance and Company focus areas
- Work with Finance to establish charge code (both CONUS and O-CONUS)
- Support any emerging programmatic requirements and determine all CDS teams/impacts. Work to establish funding and manning requirement to achieve mission success.
- Develop long-term strategic business imperatives, develop & foster AFS business opportunities and work with CDS leads to grow the business.
- Serves as the primary (but not the only) communication conduit from AFS to the Aero Sustainment Operations Integration teams (and subsequently to the LOB program offices).
- Coordinate priority of effort with other AFS IOs and AFS CDS Leads.
- Ensure AFS LOB specific commitments and Mission Success Events (MSE) align to AFS Capability Lead execution
- Coordinates (in conjunction with Aero/Global Readiness Solutions (GRS) Sustainment Operating Services (SOS) team) sustainment planning with CDS Leads for new and emerging sustainment operations business
- Manage exceptions from Standard Work (changing priorities, changing resource profiles, performance shortfalls, contract structure or deliverable changes)
