- Provide broad administrative support to the partnerships team, including project management support
- Coordinate key Partnerships activities, such as the GivingTuesday Data Commons fellowships, GivingTuesday’s Global Hubs, GivingTuesday Data Commonds convenings and various partner projects and external engagements
- Draft a variety of internal- and external-facing documents, including project briefs and proposals, working group convening notes, conference presentations, internal reports, and other documentation
- Coordinate, curate and update our contact management system (from Working Group convenings, Partnerships activities, Academic conferences, and so on)
- Build and execute outreach plans for Data Commons partnerships, including newsletters, Working Group convening invitations, conference participation)
- Track and manage timelines for Partnerships initiatives and conduct desk research (Google Scholar, connected papers, etc.) for key research topics
- Support fundraising activities including, managing timelines for submitting funding proposals and applications and tracking funder conversations
- Coordinate and manage conference attendance, including some aspects of travel logistics
- Manage the partnerships email and respond to common questions over email
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Specifically proficient with Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, Zoom, Powerpoint, Airtable, Mailchimp and Neon. Able to swiftly learn other technology tools as needed.
- Excellent at written communication: able to effectively and efficiently write briefs, summarize research, draw up meeting notes, and draft proposals.
- Experienced or interested in academic research
- Experienced in coordinating virtual events, webinars, and/or convenings
- Able to identify when you need clarity while working in ambiguity
- Comfortable both taking initiative and providing support depending on the situation
- Able to provide a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills, and the ability to anticipate and manage resources and time available in a small team
- Experienced and/or educated in management, communications, project management, International Development or another relevant field.
- Passionate about philanthropy, the social sector, and being a force for good in the world.
- Access to a laptop and stable internet connection is necessary for this remote role.
- Work and availability requirements will be primarily during EST office hours.
The total annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 BRL to $160,000 BRL.GivingTuesday is committed to a work environment where our employees feel included, valued, and heard.
