Type: ContractResponsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple small finance-related initiatives involving Tax, EPM, Advanced Collections, and Large Enhancements/Optimization within the Oracle ERP environment.
- Provide regular status updates to senior-level executives, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking, task management, and collaboration among team members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Proactively identify and communicate key issues, risks, and dependencies to leadership, offering strategic solutions and mitigation plans as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Possess a strong understanding of Oracle or SAP ERP systems to effectively relate issues and risks to project stakeholders.
- Take a hands-on approach to understanding project complexities, ensuring a thorough comprehension of technical requirements, challenges, and potential roadblocks.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing Oracle-related initiatives as a Technical Project Manager, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on expertise with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential project risks and issues proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to capture meeting minutes, follow through on action items, and drive timely resolution of project-related tasks.
- Familiarity with finance-related modules within Oracle ERP, including Tax, EPM, and Advanced Collections, is highly desirable.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines with a focus on delivering results.
