Residential Support AideJob PurposeRecovery Support Aides' (RSA) are responsible for the facilitation and delivery of treatment services according to an established schedule of structured program activities. RSA’s shall ensure a therapeutic environment which is productive, meaningful, and is provided in a manner that is appropriate for the person(s)-served within the treatment setting.QualificationsRSA LEVEL I
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Must have strong interpersonal social skills; able to remain calm in emotionally charged settings;
  • Possess, or ability to possess, a Missouri Class "E" Chauffeur's license;
  • Meet the minimum requirements to be clinically privileged by FCC Behavioral Health.
RSA LEVEL II
  • Meet the requirements of an RSA II as listed in the RSA Application, including 2000 hours (at least one (1) year) of applicable work experience.
RSA LEVEL III
  • Meet the requirements of an RSA III as listed in the RSA Application, including Applicable Bachelor's Degree OR 4000 hours (at least two (2) years) of applicable work experience. Note: To move from one RSA level to another, an RSA application must be completed, signed, and approved.
Core Job Duties
  • Monitor and facilitates group activities (educational and recreational) according to program schedules using a group facilitating format and group material that engages the person(s)-served.
  • Provide continuous supervision of person(s)-served to ensure compliance with and report any physical and/or emotional changes to the proper staff members. Coordinate crisis intervention services, as needed.
  • Monitor vital signs, urine analysis, self-administration of medication and search of person(s)-served as required. Some sites require medication administration.
  • Serve as a positive role model through professional appearance, therapeutic communication and respect for self and others.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing strengths and needs of person(s)-served.
  • Assist in the transportation of person(s)-served to and from scheduled activities, as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain facilities and storage areas for cleanliness and the working condition of equipment; cleans, adjusts and moves items to proper areas.
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
  • Must be capable of accurately recording and communicating information verbally and in writing.
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
DriverJob PurposeThe Transportation Driver transports passengers in agency vans/vehicles over specified routes and/or distant points, according to time schedule, in a safe and professional manner. Drivers will be responsible for keeping the vehicles and equipment maintained, ensuring that the vehicle has all the necessary supplies, completion of shift forms and maintaining FCCBH’s professional code of ethics.Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Class “E” Chauffeurs Licenses
  • Minimum one (1) year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, as needed.
Core Job Duties
  • Must maintain a safe driving record.
  • Conducts monthly vehicle inspections for assigned agency vans/vehicles.
  • Completion of daily pre-trip inspections to include checking of gas, oil, and water prior to departure to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
  • Ensures that assigned vehicles are exceptionally clean, inside and out, at all times.
  • Makes basic maintenance repairs and tire changes as needed and when possible.
  • Maintains awareness of maintenance schedule for assigned vehicle. Always meets schedule. Works with garage to maintain efficiency in scheduling.
  • Reports all preventable/unpreventable accidents and incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Always utilizes defensive driving techniques. Multiple observations practicing safe and defensive driving procedures.
  • Transports passengers in a safe and professional manner at all times.
  • Assist passengers with walkers/wheelchairs and assist them when entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
  • Regulates heating and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
  • Complies with local and state traffic regulations.
  • Reports route delays to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Capable of understanding directions and the ability to use I-pads accurately.
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.  Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
