Supervisor Procurement

• Research, and purchase products and materials according with specifications of the company
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best results
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders
• Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
• Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
• Supervise, evaluate, and coach subordinates
• Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels
• Manage KPIs and improve and apply new tools in a strategic way
• Assure and monitor the proper parametrization in SAP
• Analyze coverage trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions
• Coordinate with inventory team and management, as required
• Assess stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management
• Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc
• Assist in forecasting to plan future orders

• BSc/BA in Engineering/Logistic or relevant field
• Proven experience as materials supervisor/Procurement supervisor
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP MM
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills
• A problem-solver
• Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Occasional domestic and/or international travel
• Ability to travel
