Job Description:Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strategic growth area for Oracle. It is a comprehensive cloud service offering in the enterprise software industry, spanning Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). OCI is currently building a future-ready Gen2 cloud Data Science service platform. At the core of this platform, lies Big Data Service.What Big Data Service is: Oracle Big Data Service is a fully handled, automated cloud service that provides enterprises with a cost-effective Hadoop environment. Customers easily create secure and scalable Hadoop-based data lakes that can quickly process large amounts of data.Key Points: Enables customers to deploy Hadoop clusters of all sizes, with VM shapes ranging from 1 OCPU to dedicated bare metal environments. Customers choose between high-performance NVMe storage or cost-effective block storage and can grow or shrink their clusters. BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related technical field
Proven experience in software development.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, & distributed systems.
Strong programming skills in Python or a related language
Experience working with distributed systems
Take initiative and be responsible for delivering complex software
Excellent problem solver, analytical thinker and quick learner
Design, develop, fix and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
