Chief, Office of Coastal Management Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the Program Manager of the federally approved Ohio Coastal Management Program.
  • Administers and oversees programmatic and fiscal operations of the Office of Coastal Management including the Ohio Coastal Management Program and the Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve.
  • On behalf of the Director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers and oversees Lake Erie coastal Regulatory programs as authorized in the Ohio Revised and Administrative Code.
  • On behalf of the Director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers and oversees implementation of all federal requirements and enforceable policies in the Ohio Coastal Management Program document (NOAA).
  • Initiates and implements grant-funded initiatives and projects funded by the State of Ohio H2Ohio Program, NOAA, U.S. EPA, and other Federal and State agencies as appropriate.
