We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator with a strong background in
data integrations using Informatica ETL. The ideal candidate will have a background working at a higher
education institution and be responsible for the overall administration, configuration, and maintenance
of our Salesforce platform, TargetX application, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. In
addition, the candidate should possess advanced skills in designing, implementing, and managing data
integrations using Informatica ETL.
1. Salesforce Administration:
- Administer and configure Salesforce, specifically TargetX application, to meet the

2. Data Integration using Informatica ETL:
- Work with key stakeholders and technology staff throughout the University, but particularly
the University’s enterprise systems and external data sources. Maintain integration routines
and troubleshoot issues.
- Design, develop, and implement robust data integration solutions using Informatica
- Create and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between Salesforce
APIs.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data cleansing and validation procedures.
- Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards in Salesforce to provide actionable
- Utilize tools such as Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Tableau, or other BI platforms for creating

- Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as TargetX updates, including monitoring

- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a focus on data integrations.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Salesforce Administrator and/or Informatica certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge in relational database concepts
- Ability to develop and analyze complex structured query language (SQL) programming
- Experience working with enterprise information systems in a multi-departmental setting
- Ability to apply complex problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of the systems development life cycle, structured analysis and design techniques,
- Excellent communications skills working with people with varying levels of fluency with
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree in an area related to the position requirements is
preferred.
Minimum 5 years IT experience required with at least 2 years in higher education, particularly using
student information systems and data analytics.
