- Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures
- Performs inspection and packing of wall plates as directed while following related work instructions
- Documents production and other information where applicable
- Places identification into each container of parts or finished goods unless alternate method has been established
- Isolates suspect material and alerts technician, quality assurance, and/or supervision in the event of non-conformance
- Maintains a clean machine and work area
- Relocates any defective parts or assemblies to specified scrap containers
- Supports Material Handler position as needed
- Attends department stand-up meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to sorting and rework
- Performs changeovers on packaging machines
- Performs simple machine adjustments and light mechanical repair
- Replaces product components such as film, barcode ribbon and screws as needed
- Performs minor machine adjustments and repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands, to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
- Ability to focus on a single source of sound in the presence of other distracting sounds
- Ability to successfully complete related on-the-job training program
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
