- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop hiring plans for all levels of staffing including medical, clinical, managerial, direct client/patient service and administrative staff
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for the role and company culture
- Engage in direct outreach to active and passive candidates
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate contact to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Accurately track candidate progress within the UKG applicant tracking system and provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions
- Become proficient in UKG applicant tracking system and support and train hiring manager in its effective use
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience and promote CHD as an employer of choice
- Create training materials for hiring managers, including interview guides, scoring rubrics, and evaluation criteria, to support interviewers in assessing candidate qualifications and fit
- Conduct weekly agency-wide new employee orientations session
- Develop relationships with colleges and community resources to enhance the image of human services and behavioral health careers; attend external hiring and community events; promote the positive image and network on behalf of CHD
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve our hiring processes
- 3-5 years of experience in HR with a focus on recruitment, onboarding
- Bachelor’s Degree in an HR, social service, or business-related field
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies, networking, and direct sourcing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with multiple stakeholders including candidates and hiring managers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
- Experience in social services, behavioral health, and/or healthcare environments
- Must be able to travel in and around western Massachusetts
