- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market share.
- Identify and engage with potential clients in industries generating plastic and paper waste, such as manufacturing, packaging, and distribution sectors.
- Define clear objectives and action plans for acquiring and reselling plastics, paper, and other recyclable materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and personalized responses and solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring profitability and sustainable partnerships.
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favourable terms that align with company objectives and profitability targets.
- Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals, outlining value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of customer contracts and service delivery.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to internal stakeholders to optimize product offerings and service delivery.
- Provide regular feedback to management on market developments, sales performance, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing practices in all procurement activities.
- You have at least 5 years experience within a B2B Account Management or B2B Sales / Account Executive role, ideally within the Infrastructure & Waste Management and Metals & Steel industry.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
- You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
