Ensures a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment with an unparalleled level of customer service to ensure all Patients, Caregivers, Stakeholders, and guests have a positive experience at our facility. Responsible for all cash transactions, for all food items and the maintaining and set-up of serving and dining area.Minimum Job QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent, preferredExperience:Minimum 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage/Hospitality/High-volume hospital cafeteria setting, preferredLicense/ Certification/ Permit:Certification from an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) food handler training accredited program or obtained within 30 days of employment (Required in IL). ServeSafe preferred.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong customer services skillsAbility to work well on a teamBasic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suiteStrong attention to detail and organizational and time management skillsAbility to be flexible, adapting to changing conditions in a fast-paced environmentCity of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
