Key Responsibilities:

Lead a daily standup meeting with the engineering team.
Give detailed and frequent progress reports to leadership.
Manage development projects with our technology agency, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
Develop and maintain the company's digital systems, including websites and eCommerce platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and scope, with clear communication with stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance to the development team, and ensure adherence to web development best practices.
Own the CI/CD process and conduct regular code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality digital products.
Identify opportunities to optimize existing digital systems and processes, and ensure data-driven decision-making to improve performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging digital trends and technologies, and provide thought leadership on digital strategy and innovation.
Ensure data-driven decision-making by leveraging key insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital engineering, software development, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript technologies like React, Next, and Node, and experience with headless eCommerce architecture.
Experience managing and leading technology teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with headless commerce architecture, API-driven development, and JavaScript tech stack.
Experience with common headless eCommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, or commercetools.
Familiarity with eCommerce and CMS integrations, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and tax calculation services.
Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Understanding of modern front-end development principles, including responsive design and performance optimization.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Bitbucket.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure, Vercel/Netlify, and Heroku.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
