- Build an organization including management and working teams, deployed within regional zones, to support TADRA’s business plan and objectives
- Deploy the necessary team to a wide range of commodity suppliers throughout the US and International
- Responsible for procedures, processes and Quality System development and implementation
- Participate in Business Development opportunities, including presentations, RFP responses and contract development
- Oversee training development and implementation across the organization
- Direct formal/informal problem-solving initiatives within the supply base
- Lead, motivate and coach a diverse set of quality engineers and managers tasked with exceeding customer requirements
- Design, implement and document procedures and process control, testing and inspection requirements and process improvement
- Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, yield, for measuring effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions and planning
- Establish collection of analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality
- Perform other related job duties as required

- Aircraft Parts and Material Conformity Inspections
- Special Processes (i.e., heat treating, chemical processing, welding, NDT’s)
- Business tools including technology and may include the use of statistics and formulas.

- The Quality Operations Managers will have direct reports including but not limited to SQEs, SDSs, and SPAs
- 15+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineering in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment. •
- 5-10 years FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) Protocol •
- Hands-on inspection experience and ability to use basic inspection tools and equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) •
- Working knowledge and experience with inspection methods, techniques, and protocols •
- Strong understanding of Engineering Mechanical Processes, Standard Drawings Conventions, Interpreting Drawing, Specifications and GD&T
- 5-10 years' experience hands-on experience with the ISO9100 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems Processes, especially in Production, Quality, and logistics
- Experience leading customer audits
- Project management, time management, problem solving and organization
- US citizenship required
- Vision exam is required prior to hire.
- Requirements are as follows:
- The General Vision Acuity Test shall be performed by an Oculist, Optometrist, or other professionally recognized person. The following requirements shall apply.
- Near Vision – Eyes meets Orthorater 8 (95% or Jaeger #2 at 12 inches)
- Far vision – Eyes meets Orthorater 4 (76%) or Snellen Chart 20/50
- Color Perception – 6 of 9 Orthorater plates
- US or International citizenship or permanent residence status required depending on work location.

Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
