Job Description:Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is currently seeking an Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to work overnight in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. Responsibilities include admitting patients from the Pediatric ED, rounding on patients in the PICU, attending trauma alerts in the Pediatric ED, consulting with the pediatric subspecialists, and educating nurses, APPs, medical students and residents. The 12-bed PICU at Lakeland Regional Health has all private rooms with family friendly amenities. Nemours providers at Lakeland Regional Health have access to more than 13 pediatric subspecialties on site as well as remote access to all the Nemours pediatric subspecialists located in Orlando. The Nemours transport team provides critical care transport services to Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida for children requiring higher level care.Must have current APRN license in good standing; Acute or Primary Care Certification acceptable, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred (PNP-PC or PNP-AC). Current BLS certificate upon hire.
