- Develop an energy efficiency roadmap for oil and gas refineries.
- Create an energy baseline and define Energy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to analyze energy performance.
- Ensure energy compliance and efficiency for each operating facility.
- Develop and maintain Energy Policy, documents, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the refinery energy team to identify energy-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for achieving more energy-efficient operations.
- Analyze and monitor daily refinery energy usage and conduct energy audits.
- Monitor and control refinery energy intensity indicators to improve energy efficiency.
- Conduct job site observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses.
- Conduct internal energy benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.
- Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries.
- Develop and deliver training materials to promote energy awareness among refinery personnel.
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in refining, oil and gas plants, or petrochemical industries.
- Be proficient in the codes and standards relevant to the oil and gas industry, including API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of energy engineering.
- Preferred familiarity with the ISO-50001 Energy Management Standard and its requirements.
- Possess a working knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes.
- Familiarity with the development of energy efficiency roadmaps, energy baselines, and setting targets for energy key performance indicators.
- Have a strong background in data collection and data analysis to identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend improvements for better energy performance.
- Exhibit strong management and coordination skills.
