Education Level: Bachelor's DegreeOpportunity Description:Radio Frequency (RF) engineer with documented expertise in interacting with a variety of RF signals, and a background in one or more technical domains relevant to Cyber Capability Development. The ideal candidate should have a background working with military RF systems to accomplish D4M objectives. Software development and exploitation skills are also highly desirable.Position Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance in the architecture and design of RF spectrum monitoring systems, considering factors such as frequency bands, modulation schemes, power requirements, and system integration.
- Analyze RF systems and emulate them via SDR.
- Conduct advanced analysis of RF systems using simulation tools and models to optimize solution performance, triangulate radio frequency interference sources, expand capability, and increase mission success.
- Collaborate with partner and cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to achieve integrated and optimized system solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for research, development, testing, and evaluation standards and practices.
- Current TS/SCI
- BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting RF systems.
- Strong understanding of RF principles and communication systems utilizing Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Understanding of RF shielding and preventing signal leakage.
- Experience building representational emulated RF systems for use in development/prototyping.
- Experience reverse engineering RF systems.
- Knowledge of military and commercial communication system operations (tactical radios, VHF, UHF, LMR, ADS-B, voice).
- MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in CNO development.
