Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated individual to support and develop the clinical curriculum to provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of Periodontics patients. Creighton University is a Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university committed to excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in the Big East Conference.The 12-month, tenure track, Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics will work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession. Specific responsibilities will focus on clinical and didactic teaching at the pre-doctoral level, participation in research, grant-funding, service activities and delivering continuing dental education for the department of Periodontics.Qualifications:
  • A DDS or DMD degree or, an equivalent degree from an international program along a Certificate in Periodontology from with an ADA accredited institution and successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or in DDE prior to the date of hire and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
  • Candidates must also possess strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
