- Novice Experience in System Administration of Operating Systems such as Linux and/or Windows
- Novice Experience in code hosting platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- One or more years’ experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments or System Administration work experience
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues
- Walk internal customers through installing applications, and computer peripherals, and connecting to production-related environments
- Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Conduct remote troubleshooting
- Test alternative pathways until the issue is resolved
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Develop and keep up-to-date internal documentation around responsible task(s)
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with internal clients to ensure their systems and tools are functional
- Identify gaps in processes and communication and develop/assist with streamlining these processes
